I have recently bought a new 98 Custom Pro with the basic electronic package.  While I was cleaning the marker, I noticed the pre-installed double trigger was missing the metal pieces and the spring. The only thing there was the plastic part of the trigger.  This allowed the trigger to touch the firing switch.  The firing pin (the pin that realeses the bolt when the trigger is pulled) has a pivot only movement instead of a sliding-pivot movement.  If one was to strip the gun of all the electronics and install a double trigger off of the shelf then the pivoting firing pin will always remain depressed while the trigger is held down. The bolt will have zero resitance, except friction, and will rapidly move back and fourth.  I have no idea how fast this shoots but I know it is faster than the double A-5 combo.  This leaves one problem.  There is no hopper that can feed fast enough for this to happen.

If you don't understand what I am trying to say then post a post and I will try to explain it better.

Extremely bad for internals and pointless.I don't know if it would work. I would have to look at my pro again.

Good try though. There are plenty of mods to give a full auto trigger without any electronics. If using co2, there would be major freeze ups.

there has been countless numbers of threads that said the same thing. No, it will not work. all it does is chops all the balls. it goes about 40 bps if you want to know. stick with the electronic trigger.

Its a rite of passage in the tippmann world.  However, someone, someday, may just master it...

You could just make sure your barrel is nice and close to the target when you hold the trigger...a hopper full of paint is still a hopper full of paint, eventually some will get pushed out the end of the barrel onto the person you're shooting at.

But the idea's still retarded.
