not much different than the DM6, for the price, I'd rather go with the 07
ego. If you're using a proto matrix right now, you know the gas-hog that
the DM7 is going to be. My friend loves his, but I still blast the crap out of
him with an old LCD with Anderson Board.

I was also thinking about the 07 EGO but I have never really used an EGO before and didnt wanna spend that much money on a gun that i am not familiar with. At least I got some similarities with my DM7 and my PM6 ya kno?

I've never shot a DM7 but i have shot a DM6 and i'm pretty sure no internals changed between them just a couple of ounces of milling.

If your worried about efficency wait till a HE bolt comes out or a DM6 may fit.

I personnaly would have gone with a 07 ego because theres more change between the 06 and 07 the DM7 is just milling.

Basically shoots the same as the DM6, like everyone else said still a bit of a gas hog, but not as bad as my Shocker. The gun shoots nicely, my buddy just picked one up last week.

No need for an HE bolt, just top-hat mod it.

^That's what I've heard. It's not going to be that much more different than your PM. You should feel right at home with it.

DM6 to DM7 = not much change

06 to 07 ego = bigger change

07 ego > DM7

As for maintenance wise I'd say they're pretty good unless you decide to pull out your 10 sledge hammer...

Never have got to pull either marker apart but 07 ego are soposed to be somewhat of a learning curve in there (according to ref at my field).

-------------
table of what really makes your marker work
*Gnomes= autocockers
*Fairies= Angels
*Pixies= Timmys
*leprachauns= tippys
*goblins= spyders
*elves= mags
*lawyers= smartparts
Ya I'm that smart

Nah, ego's just a re-worked timmy when it comes down to it. The tough part with them is that they're so darn small it's easy to crush wires.

Ego is easier to clean. And when you take it apart like Tallen said, watch out for pinching wires between the frame or cutting them when putting in the screws.
