For your Ion? yeah, it'll be fine. The biggest issues I've seen with them so far is that the lid and feed impeller are both a bit sketchy as to their durability. The supposed "30bps" rate of feed is also a questionable point. The drop tests I've read of and the tests we've done at the pro-shop I deal with have given us a reliable feed rate of up to 24bps, anything faster than that and we've had some pretty big jamming issues. So, as I said, for an Ion, it shouldn't present any significant problems. Unless you got a good deal on it, I'd rather have a halo though. ------------- <Removed overly wide sig. You already bought it. Why ask now? What good will that do? Are you afraid that unless we tell you it's amazing, it will suck? Turn it on, and USE IT. Draw your own conclusions. If you want buying assistance, ask BEFORE you buy the item. That makes sense, don't you think? |
