Hate on this .....This is my A5 i have built over the past few months! ups include *special ops mp air thru kit (mag,stock,fore grip also modded to accept the grenade launcher) *special ops f.o.g. shrourd with the receiver miled off and drilled out through the scepter grenade launcher bracket tapped with 6-32 stainless steel screws also aluminum weaver rails drilled and tapped into the shroud....not functional but screw it, its what i wanted and it'smy marker *scepter grenade launcher with macro kit replacing the braided hose kit *w.a.s. board ( need ramage board w.a.s. board sucked defective like my friends) *red jcs power tube *double trigger ( i know it isn't "milsim" but i don't like full auto i like response) *nc star sight *tz offset hopper *star fire front bolt *empire 7 peice barrel kit *polished internals *light pen spring in trigger *1/8 qev *jcs jet click cyclone internals *one corona while typing this *alot of love, time and money    -------------

i think it looks great, not my style but looks good, only thing i dont like is the mag looks a bit long but thats minor

I'm not going to lie, but meh...It looks cluttered to me, but if it works for you and you like it, more power to you. I'm not a big fan of it at all really. Not my bag man....really honestly i don't like it because it doesnt seem to go
together one because i've never seen a red dot let alone a backwords one on an mp5. Also with the barrel shround and the grenade launcher it looks even less like an mp5, if mp5 is what you were going for. -------------

I don't know why everyone thinks milsim means it has to look exactly like a production firearm. To me, that's the beauty: you can make it look like whatever you want. As long as it's aesthetically pleasing and works well, who cares if it doesn't look like gun x? My next project (after the A5 is finally done) will be a pulse rifle. It won't look like any real gun, but it will look milsim. I think your setup looks great, though I do hate (there you go) the look of a double trigger on anything but an xball style (is that how you term it?) marker, but your reasoning makes sense to me. -------------

Special Ops, MP5 mag and foregrip =/= beautiful and clean milsim look. As long as you like it, that's fine. And the specs (besides cosmetic addons, rails, and sights) are decent and worth having. But I would be embarrassed to walk on to a field with a gun looking like that. -------------

ok. Thats what i wanted some honst opions. I knew the hate on this would lure you guys in.Well i agree on the sight(even being backwards) and weaver rails where a little much after looking at it and seeing all the feedback. But the shroud is staying and the barrel front is to long so I am ordering a new one. The old one is 14" so i am going to cut it down to 10". this is the shroud with the 2 stainless 6-32 screws and bored out so the barrel would fit in it.plus the barrel look to skinny with out the shroud...anyways I like it that way.    -------------

Launching grenade launchers? That's gotta hurt! Seriously, though, I haven't seen a grenade launcher in action yet. How do they work? Anyone have a link to a video? Just curious and I'm too tired tonight to do another exhaustive search for something. -------------

It is not a rap 4 launcher.This launcher is a scepter40mm grenade launcher.It can launch a 4 oz. grenade or do the "grape shot".The rap 4 uses I think 40cal paintballs in the shell. You have to load the shell and charge it each use.The scepter uses the markers own air.Just something that I wanted forever that I broke down and bought. -------------
