I just took apart my gun to replace the little orange ball latch, because the old one broke. I put the gun back together and wouldn't shoot, the co2 is full and its going into the gun, it just acts like theres no air at all. Please help.

Did you install the ball latch in backwards? Is there anything in the path of either bolt? The back bolt does move right?

It is v easy to put the ball detent (the orange but) in backwards. Ive done it myself and mashed up a detent so just check that.

If you installed the ball detent backwards it will prevent the bolt from going forward and that will prevent the hammer (rear bolt) from striking the power valve pin...so no gas gets released.

Sponey, if you have fixed it. If you found you installed the detent backwards, let us know. Don't be embarrassed about it...we have ALL done it.

i've done it before, the easiest way to see if it is in backwards is to uncock the gun and take off the barrel, and look and see if you can see the detent sticking up

Personally, I have never put it in backwards. I especially make sure I don't after reading that people have. It's not really embarassing, just a mistake people make.

Bruce, how many of your posts are always quoting the original post? I just have noticed that on almost all of your posts, even when you are the first to respond.

Virtually all my posts include the question to which I am responding. In these forums there are literally thousands of responses that do not contain the question to which the response is made. When you are doing a search a key word may take you to a response to which the original question has become nearly impossible to find. The answer will hint that there is additional info that would be useful, but is now more difficult to track down.

Many times even in a active thread the gist of the question will change so the requested response is nonsense unless the specific question is included
