i was thinking about buying one of these and maybe 2 by the summer and i was wondering if it is worth the 300$, the main features of this pistol are auto cocking, rechangable clips for fast reload, and safety swith that slides forward and back instead of the common safety pin that just pushes in and out like the tippmann 98 and A-5. and from what i hear and seen from a pistol that it's fairly accurate.

IMHO, a paintball pistol is about as useful as a paintball "knife".

Definitely not worth $300

^Agreed. For normal woodsball/rec play, it's not worth it. You're better off buying an A5 or upped Ion for that price.

i already have an A-5 but it has a 16inch barrel on it so it isn't good when it comes to clearing buildings, so i'm looking for something thats fairly small so i can take people out with relative ease

you can buy 6-8 inch barrels for them

and believe me, if you try to clear a room with a pistol, you will get owned by semis/autos

FYI, a 16" barrel is a complete waste of gas and money. It takes more energy to move the ball down the barrel and still achieve muzzle velocity and does absolutely nothing to increase accuracy.

The A-5 is based on the H&K MP5 series of sub machine guns. It is used by various military and law enforcement agencies to clear buildings, if you put a correct size barrel on it, you won't have any issues using it to do so. As Carl said, using a pistol to clear a room is pretty dumb. You don't see the military or tactical law enforcement agents using a pistol to do that kind of work, so why would you want to?

well in my milsim and woodsball playing time pistols do work being able to turn a corner really tight always a advantage, but 300 dollars for the quick change of the clip, when a speed clip on a pgp does roughly the same thing hmmmm, anyways wait a few months price will go down when the a-5 came out it was 320 now i can get one for 195 so just wait and see if it drops get one if it doesnt look for a different pistol

Nothing clears a room or allows you to tackle corners better than a fast firing marker.

Okay, so you got me on a technicality, but when it comes to that, just send in Big Al on the announcement that he's looking for people to join him in the Casa Del Amore. That'll clear the room faster than anything.

actually in a swat team, the man first into the room carries a pistol for manouverability.

It doesn't apply in paintball.
