Currently I have a fully customized A5, however, I don't like it in speedball, which I play more of.  I was wondering what you could reccomend for a high-end gun.  I want one that I can customize over time, I was looking at a 2004 Autococker, but wasn't sure.  I have the money to get a big nitrous tank and a new barrel straight off, but I don't wanna drop more than 600 on just the gun.

While autocockers are nice markers, they don't keep up with the ROF that other speedball markers have for the same, if not less, money. If you have the ability, time, and money to upgrade a cocker to an e-blade and solenoid, then yeah, it's a great speedball marker. But for the price range you're looking at, you can get much better markers. My suggestion, get a good HPA tank (88ci 4500psi "stubby" tank) that you won't be re-filling after every round of play, a good hopper (HALO B w/ Rip Drive) and something like an Ion or a used high-end marker (DM4 DM5 Angel, Etc) and you'll be set.

^I agree completely with Tallen. You can find used upgraded Ions for pretty cheap now as well as Halo Bs. All you would need to buy new would be a HPA tank(68 or 88/4500). As Tallen also mentioned, you can find high end electros like Angels, DMLCDs, DM4s, etc for relatively cheap nowadays if you look in the right spots.

Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

I got my DMLCD with Anderson Board, CP Reg, Evil Barrel, Reloader 2, CP Snatch Grip, and phat drop for $187 shipped from e-bay. Great deal for what was, at one time, a $1,000 marker.

pbnation...

search through the used electro section... for $600 your doors are wide open.  dm4s are dirt cheap, so are pm5s and pm6.  intimidators are going for dirt cheap.  aliases are going for $500 w/ ups.  if you really want a cocker, electro cockers are dirt cheap as well... i've seen some go for as low for a couple hundred bucks.  if you search you can find some really good deals.

do some searching, check feedback if buying online from a forum and good luck!

Yeah, the Nation is great. A stock DM4 goes for about $300+shipping, so you can get a really nice gun for $600. I'd suggest a Karnivor if you really want a 'cocker, they go for $400-$500.

That said, I'd go to my local field and try out what the people there are shooting, then go buy something.

All true!

Dont forget ebay... really good deals are alot more common on pbnation, but you can still find some on ebay occasionally.  I saw a used 05 Ego go for about $600 not to long ago.

EDIT-- I just checked, there are 2 NIB / ETek Ego's on ebay with a buy it now price of $600 ea.  wish I had the cash!
