Any dive stores near you? If not, looks like you'll be waiting for a field/event.

Buy your own fill station?

Buy a scuba tank and fill your own.

dive stores sound good....  fill stations would also be too expensive

A used Scuba tank isn't that expensive, and the fill adapters for them aren't too bad either. On that note, the local dive/oxygen shops will probably let you fill your stuff there if you foot the bill for a fill adapter for them. My guess is that you'd invest no more than $100 when all is said and done.

Used Scuba tank - $45-80 (may need re-certification, check insp. date on sticker)

Fill Station - I think around $50 for a 32degrees

most dive shops (to my understanding at least) will only fill to 3000 PSI (scuba pressure).

but i mean at least your getting a fill right?

The scuba shops can fill up to 3800ish maybe more, and i checked with my father in law on an electronic guage...

Best bet would be the scuba tank and fill station. Gets costy thought since you need to hydro and visual every year i believe (visual is 20cdn) but a fill is only 6cdn and less if you get a fill card... and i get about a bit more than 10 fills on a 48 3000 tank at 2300 psi(approximate)

they can fill that high, but keep in mind they usually use tanks rather than a compresser (last I checked anyways), which means that the pressure is going to steadily decrease as they fill more and more tanks for people. 3800 or more may be the theoretical (and in some cases actual) level, but if you dont get there when they've got a relatively fresh tank, your probably not going higher than 3200.
