Really? I needed you to talk to my school's administration back when I was in college. I only got 7 days for christmas, thanksgiving thursday off (but not the friday after!) and 3 weeks in the summer. Those are the only days we didn't have class with the exception of weekends, and even then, we often had saturday classes.

... Hmmm... I have no idea about Chef-management...     I just know most of the time if your getting your BS Degree you get like 2 weeks off for spring, month for x-mas, and some random other days off.

also how many hours were required, and how fast did you do it?

The disturbing bit is that  if I do end up going overseas, all these kids in grade 12 will graduate a four year program the same time I do- and I'm already in second year.

I've been out since Dec 19th and have worked as many hours as I could at a ski area. Lots of snow making, major loss of party time. After the AFC game last night I was in no mood to go back to school. I've already decided to get out of one of my classes since I have absolutly no faith in the professor who's a retarded biased cow with no speaking ability.

I'm way more bummed about the Pats losing to the Colts than I was about ending a 2 year relationship over break.

Heck if I remember how many hours were required, it's not as if you get much of a choice in courses at CIA. I did it faster than anyone else in my class though. I had some hours from my dual credit courses in my Sr. year of high school (English 101, 102, and a few history ones) that let me skip out about a half-semester's worth of courses. I also opted to do a Senior Thesis rather than take two more courses my final year. All said an done, it took me exactly 3 years and 22 days to finish my 4 year degree.

I got out a week before the high school did here (would have been less if I had to take my exams during the designated time) and only went back four days after they went back.  Not exactly lots longer.
