Go turn my computer on today and it boots into a black screen,  Turn it off it give me the option of A. go with safe mode B. Safe mode with networking or C. safe mode with password.  Also has a run normally option.  Tried the run normally and its back to black screen.  Go and hit the first safe mode freezes in it.  Can't figure out why its doing this,  only thing i put onto it in the past few days is the newest vresion of AIM.

So any advice?  Im gueseing im going to have to wipe out the harddrive and reformat.

Try the different types of safe mode, make sure there isn't a cd in the drive that Windows is trying to boot from, along with make sure there is no floppy in there.

Also if you get back into safe mode, be all like "lol system restore" and restore it from about 1 week ago because it may be a driver issue.

Also you should go to Microsoft's website, because they have a very good system for figuring out what the problem is, and how to fix it.

Or try to make a boot disk!
