I had one lined up for $70 but it didn't work 100% (he thought it just need cleaning)

and he would only sell me the both that he had

Dude, that's a Thunder Vision Imp. New, they were selling for $1100. They are one of my favorite Imps, so I'd say heck yeah, do it if you've got the cash.

I still like Imps, but I've got a thing for brick guns, if you can't tell!

Whoa, I didnt even notice it was the Thunder.  Didnt Game Face make that?  That was my favorite Imp too, back in the day.  Its the only Smart Parts gun I've ever had the desire to buy.

When the Game Face Imp (the one in that picture came out), it was 2004, and they were either $475 or $575, can't remember exactly which.

Still, great deal, great gun to get into speedball.

To mess' post

WAS boards come with better eye logic than normal vision, so more than likely it has it.   And the eye is on the other side, so dont say you cant see it.

**edit** It says right in his post, "vision".

Imps can still hang with anything. I had WAS In mine for a month and loved it . Too bad i had to givei t back to the kid. They absolutly rip. Dont listen to what people say about them being "heavy" because it's not bad at all.

Actually, the blind Thunders were like $500. Thunder Visions were a lot more.

According to the "Quiet Thunder" article in the newest APG(April 2007), the Thunder Vision's original MSRP was $1200.

It's a nice little write-up on the Game Face thunder/Thunder Vision Impulse that goes over the basics.

Here's the "Impressions Again" section:
"The Game Face Thunder Impulse, and Thunder Vision Impulse, are both excellent markers. Whichever one you own, expect good performance with hardly any kick. These are good, value-holding markers for competitive paintball games."
