Ok, before going to play a game I hooked the co2 in and heard the air line was leaking. Well friend told me to take off the co2 so that I saved some of it when we started to play. Well I didn't want to, so he took it and unscrewed the co2 which made a loud popping sound when it came off.

Turns out the drop off slid up and now I cannot put co2 on it. My question is is it cheaper to buy the parts and replace the drop off and air line myself, or should I just take it to a shop and let them fix it.

Do it yourself

Edit - I don't know really what you mean... the drop slid up?  you can put CO2 on it, why?

It's cheaper to replace stuff if it's broken. But if it isn't broken tell us exactly what parts it is and we can help you fix it.

Are you talking about the ASA, the steel braided hose, an On/Off adapter?...?

Steel braided hose has the leak, but I had a drop forward and a regulator (I think) and it slid up too far so now there is a peice interfering with the CO2 container screwing in.

Why not slide it back in place and tighten the Allen screw that holds it in?  My Shocktech Drop Forward would allow my ASA to slide forward but a little thread lock on it stopped that.

Cuz it won't push back, I tried. There were screws holdin it in place and I'm assuming they broke.
