Call Tippmann,  They will probably replace the whole board / capactior /  solenoid for free.... I guess I should ask if it is a Tippmann e-grip.

Otherwise, Radio Shack.  Check the rating on the capactor, I think they are measured in Farads.  Make sure you get the right one.

Capacitors don't usually explode when "shorted out." They just discharge a lot of electricity which could melt the wire leads if the leads are shorted. If a capacitor explodes it usually means it has an internal defect. That internal defect can precipitate an internal short. The dumping of the charge inside the capacitor will cause it to explode sometimes. Internal damage can be from a manufacturing defect or damage from a dented or from being crushed.

or from being "Overvoltaged , or the polarity hooked up backwards for those capacitors that are polarity sensitive (Most all electrolytic capacitors ARE polarity sensitive) .
