I was wondering if anyone knew the ignition pressure of propane.  That is:  What pressure can be obtained by igniting propane?  I've searched the 'net and found nothing, which probably means I'd have to dive into my thermodynamics books that are probably moldy.  Does anyone know and/or can they link me to a resource for this information?

Alternatively, you can always drill and tap a pressure gauge into your C-3 and tell me what you get.  :)

Well, explosive power is usually given joules rather than pressure, but here's a chart that should help you figure it out. http://www.propanecarbs.com/propane.html - link

Second table down.

I always assumed around 600 to 800 psi. In the C3.

But in reality it is probably around 400 to 600 psi.
