Here's the deal. I've put my Pro-lite up over at MCB, got offered a trade for it. I can either trade it straight up for a Gen-1 pgp OR, I can trade it and add some cash for a 2k sniper with ANS bolt , boomstick and tru flight barrels. Freeflow slider frame and WGP pump kit.
I currently have the Pro-lite (up for the trade) an 03DMLCD with Anderson board and other ups, fully decked out '01 Black Magic, and a Nelspot-007 on the way. What do you guys think? If the cash add-in isn't too much, I'm thinking sniper (I can use the barrels on 3 markers that way) BUT, the old-school (80's) PGP is a cool old-school deal and Sherridan has since gone out of business.

I'd decide which you'd use more, and take that one. PGPs are cool, but I would never actually play with it, only plink.

Snipa. It will have more function and less of a novelty factor.

I would probably go with the PGP. Like you said, it's an old school gun, and I think the novelty factor is what would make it even cooler. If you were to clean it up a bit, it could make for a nice side arm.
------------- Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

pgp. low maintenance, small, accurate, durable, and with a bit of imagination, very upgradeable.

How much cash are we talking in the trade for the Sniper?
That would be the determining factor for me.
Otherwise... I'd go with the Sniper. The PGP is a great little gun... but when it comes down to it, the Sniper is a more effective pump gun. The Tru-Flight barrel is junk, but it could always be kept under the seat of your car as a light-weight self-defense club (since you live in DC and can't use anything else).
Don't get me wrong... I like my PGP. But when it comes down to pump games... it never gets chosen.
Now if I could ever get my original PGP and P68SC back from Sam Tussing...
May they R.I.P.

PGP, it is more reliable from whenever I used it.
