Like the subject lines says...can you use an Ion with Co2?  Im sure you have to have an antisiphon installed...but can you do that?  I cant find any information anywhere on it.  Thanks.

It's says in the manual that only antisiphoned CO2 should be used, in the first warning. Still, it's a good idea to invest in HPA ASAP.

If you have an Ion, don't mess around with co2, just get a HPA tank.

Also, this topic would be better placed in Upgrades and Customizing rather than Which Gun is Best.

Welcome to the forum.

the problem is...there isnt a place to fill an hp tank around here for over 60 miles.  Im asking for a buddy of mine who wants an ion.  I have a scuba tank setup to fill mine, but he doesnt.  And we dont want to fool around with any more spyders, every one that ive seen has broken down in some way.  Co2 cant be but so bad, before I got the scuba tank I ran my Impulse off of a antisiphoned 20 oz.  But you answered my question, it can be used on an AS co2.  He will probably buy a small hp tank (47) for when we go to fields,  but to use it at home he has to have co2.  Thanks

He'll be fine as long as he's running antisiphone CO2. A kid I play with uses CO2 most of the time on his Ion and it works fine.

Tell him to get a palmers.  Isnt there a LP one?

My friend ran his ion on antisiphon in November Cleveland weather before.

It ended up with my friends tongue stuck to his CO2 tank.

i have an Ion, nd i use both Co2 and HPA( yes i knwo its the worng pressure). The Anti siphons are probebly the better thing to get for you gun if you dont have a Nitro tank.THe only Problem with Co2 is the gun gets cold and it could damage lines, o rings, seals ect.you alot better off with nitro, but hey, 60 miles is a long drive.
