I notice that when I shoot my gun with the apex barrel, the balls seem to go down before coming back up. I dont know if this is supposed to happen, (I'm kind of a noob) but I remember reading that the apex and the flatline should have a "flat trajectory" now, well my paintballs aren't arching, they are doing the oppisite, they are arching downwards. They do come up and go, but not in a straight line. If this isn't supposed to happen, can someone please post on how to fix it, or tell me if it is normal. Thanks for the info.

Sounds like you're experiencing "drop off". Check your velocity, making sure it's consistent, as well as the quality of your paint.

Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

It happens. Mine does that too. If figure it's from the way the apex works. The ball travels straight until it hits the rubber ramp forcing it downwards while putting backspin on it. The farther down the ramp, the farther down the ball most also travel out the end of the barrel. The ball leaves the barrel at a downward angle, but because of the ramp being down so far, more backspin is also applied bringing the ball back up in a high arc. I find that level 5 or 6 gives a pretty good flat trajectory are without the drop before. I really don't know if it's normal or not because I'm the only one around with one. I'm assuming it is though. That is one of the disadvantages compared to the flatline.

In the Flatline mode the ramp deflects the ball downward, if you have the adjustment pushed all the way forward. With that much backspin the ball will actually rise as it flies down the field. Depending on the paint brand the mid point adjustment position usually produces the traditional "flat" trajectory.

The full backspin setting produces the dramatic curves which allows for dive bomb and around-the-bunker shots. But the extreme setting can give you some beautiful "under the tree limb" shots that take out the competitor when he least expects it. I get a kick out of shooting low across the field and having the ball rise up as it reaches the intended target. The have a difficult time telling from where the shot came.

Thanks for the responses, they were very helpful. Also, while I'm here, can some one tell me whether or not it is possible to make it so the trigger pull is shorter it seems,(even though i have the response package) that the trigger pull is pretty long. But what do i know?

there are, but i wouldnt reall mess around with it having the response.  If you do want to try though, get some good tape (electrical works for me) and apply a small strip where the trigger contacts the powertube.
