My markers:
2K3 ICD BKO. Older BL Torpedo reg (actually a standard part on the 2K3's), Dye Stickies, custom milling (both sides of body), Vaporworks volumizer. Not pictured: 32 Degrees mini-drop, Empire on/off ASA. Milled by and purchased from Rainman229. Next to come: PDS and custom eye covers (by Demented Products), red/black acidwash annodizing, Zenitram vertical ASA, Palmer's Micro-Rock LPR, possibly a Vapor Valve.

JT Excellerator 6.0 (my baby). BL/32 Degrees 4-stage x-chamber, 32 Degrees Nyte Stikk, Redz Camloc feedneck. Yet to come: NDZ high-flow Spyder valve, Bandit Excellerator bolt or a custom bolt (by Demented Products), polished internals.

BE Rainmaker. Current setup: Palmer's Fatty Stablizer, all 7 of Mad Marty's mods, Toxic mini-drop, Shocktech on/off, stock barrel. Old pic setup: AA Vigilante reg w/low pressure spring, current drop/on/off, Trilogy Sport barrel. Pending for a trade. Again, this is an old pic:

I have several other markers, but no pics as of yet.

Wow, another rainmaker. Everyone is loving rain makers lately. Very cool guns. You should have pimped out that rain maker instead of the BKO.

Take a guess who the trade is going to!
Nice markers. I was wondering who snatched up Rainman's BKO. Never bothered to check... Glad you stopped by!

I bought the BKO like that- I haven't put any money into it yet (except to buy it).
Rainman actually had 2 BKOs up for sale. I have no clue what happened to his custom anno'ed one, but he got this one, milled it down, and put it up for sale quick. Very nice for what it is. Can't wait to get PDS.

Nice guns. All of them look very nice. I'm a big fan of the BKO. The acidwash will look killer on it.

Absolutely love the milling on the BKO, it would suck to clean it though.

Thanks everyone!
I'm sending my BKO to Demented Products for the PDS job. The owner himself does a lot of custom ICD work and is a good friend of mine. I'm eventually getting the PDS mod, custom eyeplates, ram work, and his custom trayless mod (if he's done with it when I send the marker-lol).
It is indeed a pain to clean the BKO because the milled spots are not finished and tarnish. The red/black acidwash will look nice too. Im thinking about creating a name for it and having it milled into the side, but I don't know yet.

| You're too late, start hating. I loved it for it's novelty, but it wasn't for me. I used it to get a rare E Bladed Warped Sportz Dark Cocker though, so I'm fine. Ironically, the board I have now was better than the Painmaker. Rainman said it was the best available, not counting the Morlock.
I thought this was old news?

| The board does not matter. DO NOT argue with me on this subject.
It really doesn't matter with the RMs. The Painmaker, Thunderboard, and Morlock are all excellent boards.

Touchy all of the sudden! :P
Well, it does kinda matter. The stock board is okay for moderate/recball usage, seeing as to it's only capable of 10 BPS. The Gale Force is more of a woodsball board, as it's fairly slow (at 10 as well) but it has select fire option, and more control than BE's SF board. The TLALOC allows for around 18 BPS, but has no LCD screen and is more difficult to change modes. The Thunderboard LCD has the screen, and is very similar to the TLALOC, as they were made by the same company. The Thunderboard has a screen, however, can hit a slightly higher ROF and is more user friendly than a chip that mods the stock board. The Painmaker is only capable of hitting 16 BPS, but has more abastract firing modes than the other boards. It also has a larger screen and rarity value. The Morlock is universal, and I have no experience with that one.
So, it all lies in the beholder. Rainman said he prefers the Thunderboard, but I have yet to test it, and I haven't got my hands on a TLALOC yet, so I can't make an accurate comparison. Yet...

^^Exactly. Rainman prefers the Thunderboard. That says a lot in terms of aftermarket boards for the RM. The Morlock seems to be the best speedball board.
I like the standard boards (SF, semi-auto) for my RMs. I don't need anything else. RMs are one of the few markers that do not necessarily need board upgrades to achieve high-end qualities (again, do not start with me on that subject). Mad Marty's mods 1-5 work wonders and are HEAVILY recommended and compensate for board performance.

Mad Marty's mods compensate for the lack of durability a stock RM has been known to have. MM mods practically eliminate internal wear and resistance, lighten up the internals and increase cycle speed. This makes for a much more reliable RM.
However, and I'm not arguing, I'm just bringing up a point, a major gripe with the RM is its max BPS. With an uncapped board, MM mods, and a smaller ram with QEV's, a RM will keep up with the best. But even with MM mods, a smaller ram and QEV's, the stock board can only cycle 10 CPS. For some people, like you, that's plenty. Indeed that is enough for rec ballers and woodsballers, and even some speedballers, but that's why many people in the speedball world avoid the RM. They don't have a high BPS output, and aftermarket boards are increasingly difficult to find. An aftermarket board is needed to truely unleash the beast in an RM.
As for "high-end" qualites, that line is blurred by markers like the Ion. A stock RM is on the lower end of the high-end scale, but it is indeed high-end, even with the stock board. With the MM mods, it's pushed up to the mid range of the high-end scale, and with every bell and whistle available on an RM, including aftermarket board for SF options and speed, a RM could challenge the best.
Once again, not trying to argue, just bringing up points and personal observations.

tlaloc was adjustable from 1-29 bps, not 18, and to switch fire modes all u had to do was hit the trigger the amount of times for the mode, 1 for semi 2 for burst 3 for auto. and it had a sort of ramping mode where it woulda kick in at your max bps when u fired over the amount of trigger pulls you set it at

Well, I've never had any experience with the TLALOC, so I'm just reporting what Rainman told me.
Sure, it my be simple enough to switch modes, but it's still not pushin buttons and reading a screen!

Yeah, I do kinda hear you on the board subject though. I personally don't need a fancy board, but there were a few times that I wanted burst or full-auto functions. If you want a nice board upgrade but can't shell out for a whole new board, the TLALOC chip is your best bet. If I pick up another RM I'm going to look for a TLALOC chip if it doesn't have it already installed.

I always did like the prospect of the TLALOC. Tried to get one from Vexa when I first heard of them, but they went out of production a while ago. Might be difficult to find nowadays...
Edit: If Rainman doesn't make them at least.
Gonna have to see how the Thunder perfoms though. I've actually seen more Thunderboards than TLALOCs...
