To celebrate. What is the worst reason you've ever broke up with a girl/guy for?
Mine would have to be breaking up with a girl because she had absolutely horrible taste in movies. Who honestly thinks biker boys is a good movie? -------------

You almost missed it. V-day is coming to and end (or I guess maybe it just started for most couples). Normally I'm the one getting dumped. I don't remember the last time I was the one that ended the relationship. Oh wait... one girl cheated on me with my best friend. So that is my worst reason that I've broken up with a girl. |

*Prepares to get laughed at* I ended it with a girl after I found out how fast she wanted to move, "I want to get you drunk and use you for your body" just doesn't appeal to me. Other than that I haven't broken up with another girl. |

Sure. But see - breaking up makes you look bad, no matter how or why. You may get some short-term props from the fellas, but in the long run other women will only remember that YOU broke up, and they will completely forget that the woman was ... bad. You will end up being the meanie that broke ____'s heart. When you get dumped, on the other hand, all sympathy flows in your direction. You'll have your choice of rebound ladies within hours - minutes, if done carefully. So instead of dumping, just manipulate her into dumping you. Total win. Valentines day; when hell and holidays collide. anywhom, worst reason was because I was bored so I told her that I had heard a rumor that she had cheated on me and that I didn't believe her when she denied it. We eventually got back together though, and then she really DID cheat on me. Talk about karma. I am assuming, of course, that we aren't bringing up people pursued for one night stands. Yeah, I've been an asshole a time or two. Karma has gotten me back more than once, though. Luckily, I smartened up at some point. Just in time, too. I've been happily married for nearly two years. |

By being a "completely unforgivable ass on a grand scale" I mean refusing to go to a lame party with her and hanging out with your friends instead, then going to her house when she's gone, drink all her booze, set her homepage to meatspin, and get her pet turtle really stoned. Then when you see lights in the driveway scatter like cockroaches. If you've got to take it this far, making them break up with you isn't going to save your rep. I can't pretend she broke my heart because as far as everyone knows I don't have one. Best reason: She decided it didn't matter if she kept forgetting to take her pill because it would be "god's will" if she got knocked up, because that would mean "god" wanted me to marry her and drop out of school. |
