Wrap your mind around this.

Discovery channel can play footage of two monkeys haveing sex, and parents will think it is educational for their twelve year old.

HBO plays a video of two people haveing sex, and the parents are outraged that their child saw it.

Discuss.

First off, I have yet to see a twelve year old who cares a whole lot about watching monkeys have sex anyway. And if they do, then they are just wierd. I don't even want to watch that.

Second of all, this all comes down to the fact that we are not monkeys, they may be a close relative biologically speaking, but we are not monkeys. We are far more advanced, and thus have moved past the point of exposing are children to our species sexual behavior before they are ready.
