I was just wondering if any of you Tippmann A5 owners were having problems with the barrel or barrel adapters that go into the A5 were lose to the point they move..? Either from a bad made barrel adapter or when polishing the internals, polish up to the barrel.

Ummm I havent had that problem. If it get's bad you could always use some good ol' teflon tape if you cant tigthen the screws any more.

Umm you might have "Overpolished" and polished away too much of the metal to make a proper fit. If it's the reciever halves then since you polished them too much I am not sure if you have voided your warrante. If it's the Barrel Adapter that has worn down with wear and tear.

You could see if Tippmann will replace it or purchase a replacement from an online retailer such as County Sports, TippmannParts.com or even better your local paintball shop. (keep paintball alive in your community)

Unless this was moved from some other forum, (didn't know that moderators did that here) this IS the Gun MAINTENACE  and Repair (even though it is misspelled).

Just try getting someone elses who has an A5 and try their barrel in yours and yours in theirs. If their barrel wobbles in yours and yours doesnt in theirs then its your recievers that are the problem, if their barrel doesnt wobble in yours and yours does in theirs then its your barrel that is the problem.

My gun is modded well past what the warranty could offer, I may as well just primer the receiver halves near the barrel.

My brand new A-5 had a loose barrel adapter.  When I took it off you could tell that Tippmann tried to "polish" the end of it to make it fit or something to that nature.  I called them up and they sent me a brand new adapter and two new head screws.  Great guys in tech!  Good luck

It started in Thoughts and Opinions. A moderator moved it. And yes, they do that.

Check the Oring on the adapter. If it is worn down you might have problems keeping it tight. I would venture the Oring to be a more likely problem than too much polishing.
