Having all the coolant covering the outside of your engine doesn't stop the car from over heating


The side of the interstate is quite a dangerous place to be.

No, that was a lesson from a couple of months ago...

One of our Marines went UA, and happened to know a Lt. Col in St. Louis. So the Lt. Col talked two our DetCMDR so the Marine got put on leave instead of being logged in as UA...

LOTD: A 64oz mug of coffee an hour before you go into work makes you very productive when you are doing boring physical labor or driving a forklift.

Also, apparently that gets you a promotion.

so my heater core hose is completely gone, and I have a slight leak from my radiator.

 

$350 to replace the hoses and fix the problem

$675 to do the above and replace the radiator. 

 

wow... well... so much for thinking I was finally not poor for a while.

Are you letting the mechanic buy the parts for you...cause that really sounds like rape for the hose

But the radiator sounds about right still slightly expensive, but close enough

edit- lesson of the day: waiting for a marker you bought off ebay to show up is the suck

Actually, food fights with another car are awesome...regardless of where you are

My starter went and it cost me $300.....I was catching up with owed money too.

My Lesson of The day: Don't blow off work by saying you feel asleep even if you were only supposed to be there for an hour...

ironic thing is, I was on my way to my parent's house to do laundry among my other plans for the day.
