I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how i'm going to fix the wire from the solenoid on the e-trigger it popped out and part of the wire is still in the solenoid. Am I going to have to call Tippmann or can I fix it myself? Any suggestions will be great.

If you know how to solder, you should be set. Splice the wires by soldering the two together and use a shrink-wrap sleeve (you can get them at radio-shack, comp usa, etc) to keep it from shorting against the board. Make sure to put the sleeve on the wire prior to soldering the two wires together so that you can just slide it over the connection and use a hair-dryer to shrink it over the joint.

I'm having the same problem right now.  I had a friend try to solder it and he couldn't, so I called Tippmann and they were willing to replace it if I sent it in.

But if you know somebody that can solder really good, take it to them first.

I don't think that it's going work. their is only like 2mm sticking out of the solenoid. I don't know if i should open the solenoid cause if i screw up then i'd be voiding the warranty. But can i open up the sloenoid and replace the wire?

if you solder it, be careful on the side of the chip, you don't want to accidently cause it to overheat and break... metal is a good conductor of heat.

Send the board in, Tippmann replaces boards if you explain that the wire came out. I had THREE factory boards with this problem - the wires are very light gauge and even when soldered they don't like to stay in.

if you do fix it, i believe lots of people fix the loose wire problem with a drop of glue from a hot glue gun.
