Yea so on Sunday, my dog had just gotten his hair cut (he doesn't shed) so I picked him up on the way to my Grandma's house. Well, my grandma's dog (Daisy, a Husky/Shepherd mix)doesn't like other dogs so they (my dog and Daisy) got into a dispute. Well it ended up with me wrestling Daisy to the ground, with my dog in her mouth (his neck) and slightly cutting her leg leg with a knife I had (I had already tried hitting her nose, head, kneeing her in the ribs). So she lets go, and on the left side of my dogs neck there is about a 1" square piece of skin missing, and I could actually see inside his neck, even the muscles moving when he turned his head. So, I take him to the emergency vet, turns out she ripped some of the muscle out too. So after a ton of internal stitches, a dose of propylene, 14 external stitches, two drains (tubes coming through the skin in his neck, built up fluids drain out of them so I have to keep my dog on a towel), and an hour of surgery, he is better. So now, he is on some anti-biotic to prevent infection, and he is being given doses of morphine for pain. He is so out of it now, he can't walk strait. Pics later if anyone wants them |

Little over $700 total costs, my grandma is paying it though. Also, I'm not going to gut some dog because it attacked my dog. Now if my dog had died it would be a different story. |

I would have screwed that Daisy dog up bad if I were you....they'd be rushed to the ER together....But, I'm not very sentimental when a dog does something that bad....One of my girl's dogs snapped at her little cousin and I knocked it out....Then her idiot mom actually had the nerve to be mad at me for it....Now I get looks every time I say something to one of their dogs...And her family his way too lazy to train them, so it tends to occur rather often....
