Well, I worry sometimes. I dont wear a real cup, but I usually stuff an old sock down there for extra padding. If you wear loose pants though, the material would probably absorb most of the shots momentum before it did any damage to the family jewels, but then again Ive never had opportunity to test that theory. -------------

It's never happened to me, but my pants are baggy enough to, as Enos said, absorb most of the impact. It's never a bad idea to wear a cup when you'll be doing something that may involve injuring your junk. ------------- Pumpker'd; (V.) There's at least one instance in which a paintball hit caused a testicular rupture. Not common at all, obviously. As for me, ol' righty has taken a couple for the team. I'm ok. |

Different "type" of pain, but neck shots hurt like a bugger as well. I got two in one day; one in the adams apple, and one in the "dimple" where the esophagus goes into the breast bone/rib cage. Neither broke. |

Been shot there plenty of times. But your pants have more than enough baggy material in the crotch area to absorb most of the energy from the hit. Honestly, hurts way less than a finger or throat shot. ------------- <Removed overly wide sig. Tsk, you know better.> |

I've never really taken a ball shot, there was a close call a couple weeks ago, but im usually not to worried. If i get hit, no big deal, it probaly wont hurt at much as the slapshot i took there playing street hockey as a kid.

I've been shot both down south and in the neck, right on the jugular vein (which bled like a mother), and I must say they were both equal as far as pain level is concerned. ------------- Zerglet. |

i wish i wasnt, honestly, it must be pretty unconeniant to cary aroundsomething that big. the reason i hurt my knee is because i fell to the floor and groaned and although the ground was sand i managed to find a hard spot ------------- Frank |

| shouldnt worry it does hurt just get a sock or a dish towel and add a little padding or tuck the towel in the waist on the front and have it there hanging in front of your junk as for the cup idea it really didnt work for me it limited my mobility for some reason |

The one time I got shot in the junk was from about ten feet away by my friend with a pump gun that was shooting a little hot....did I mention that my pants were tight.

I've been hit in the balls twice within a short period of time. It hurts less than giving yourself a tap with your finger. Honestly, unless you're wearing spandex and at a 5' range, you'll either barely feel it, or it won't hurt enough to bug you.

i got shot in the wang before and it wasent bad. stung a little and left a welt... dident fool around for a few days after but it wasent too bad. havent taken a round in the nuts though... that would probly hurt more. ------------- saving the world, one warship at a time. |
