Well well well... I thought I'd never EVER have my Hands my hands on one of these, but... I just bought it Today! oh and yes... there will Be Upgrades... This is going to be a "re-do" of my old E98c, except this time... your going to have to pry it from my cold Dead hands to get your hands on it.    Upgrades are going to as fallowing

Nice! I just finished repairing the board and connections to an e-bolt for a friend.
Centerfed '98 with LPK, AKA SCM-II inline reg, stock E-Bolt LPR, superfly bolt, and a Freak-Jr with all the inserts for the barrel. It's fed by a 12v revvy at the moment and has fully polished internals. It shoots like a dream. Have fun with yours man! They rock! ------------- <Removed overly wide sig. Tsk, you know better.> |

It's been over a year. My next project marker will work on C02 Hence why I may Run a few Palmer Regulators, with low pressure. After looking at all the things I want, I'm looking at $525 in just upgrades.  -------------

I bought the marker used... I will NEVER-EVER-EVER! Buy used parts again... I have had to many "used" parts come to me with malfunctions. But... as an Update... My E98c Project has hit a major brick wall... I'm still going to upgrade to Centerfeed and buy a new barrel.... BUT... as always, this project will be Stalled for a little while. My New thing is a Autococker I'm buying from one of my Friends. Its a Stock 2k3 Green Autococker, So now... I'm going set my Sites on my New Autococker and put my E98c on a little bit of Delay... The cocker has not Even been fired Yet... He got it last Christmas, but he doeswn't know how to time it at all, even though I showed him how he doesn't like the fact he has to "time" it, so I got a marker I have wanted for awhie for only $75. YAY! for people who have to move, and don't like to pack.  Pics of the Cocker will come in a few Days... but sure enough they are coming. Even though it's an Autococker I'm not going to much on it at all... 12" Bigshot Barrel, and a Palmers Regulator, and MAYBE change out the 3 way for a Palmers, but I doubt it. -------------

YES! .... ... .. But yea, I can't wait till Thursday... two guns in 1 Day. I'm probably going to use HPA on my E98c and just let my cocker run off C02 when I'm playing in this town, and when I go down to Salt Lake City, I'll just bring my E98c to run off of HPA. It'll save me hundreds if I do it this way... all I will really need for my E98c is a Centerfeed job, a Barrel, and possible a few other things... So... It's all good, and I'm probably going to be turning my E98CP into a Scenario marker... Anyone know if you can use a Single Trigger on a 98CP? -------------

Haha!! Hellz No! that drop is awsome, I'm using a 16oz C02 tank on it and the Beaver tail sticks out further then the tank.... its really awsome for shooting around corners standing up. -------------

yet... another "new" update... My cocker is down now... I messed up the ANS 3-way I had on it, so... looks like I'm going to getting some palmer parts for it sooner then later. Story: Was playing a small game and my 3 way started to leak uncontrolable, So I'm looking at basically redoing the entire front block... I'm buying the quik pro kit for it and a palmer regulator, hopefully then a little C02 wont break parts... Damn ANS and their weak parts... -------------

WOW I think that's MY old 98!!!! I got it in a trade. I did the milling. Traded it for an Ion, and he painted it. I recognize the milling and those dye stickys. They are chewed up. The pictures in my thread weren't updated. I filled it in with something and made it look different. The grips are the same. The vlocity lip is indented a little. (a piece is broke at the bottom of it) The triggers on the double triggers are both sanded down in the middle. (dont have any pics) Has the same barrel. ^ to each their own. But yea... I'm not going to uber-tech my E98c for a long time... I love my Cocker alot... I think that is going to be my primary marker and only bring out my E98c when I get bored of watching my back block go back-and-forth... I've already got my Cocker figured out...
Light: I can do basically rhe same as you but... it's just one of things that just piles ontop of other problems... there so small but after looking at all the "small" problems it just sums up to one big problem... -------------

seriously though that spring makes me worry every time I reassemble. I really like Cockers alot but I'm a lefty and my index finger rubs against the pump rod during its action. It's really a bummer and I'm not willing to alter my hand position for a gun. |
