I experienced a bizzare problem with my tippmann yesterday that I think I can attribute to low air, but I thought I would post it here in the case that anyone else has seen this in the case that it's happened to them. Adjusting the velocity screw didn't really seem to affect the overshooting ... and I hope it isn't a damaged valve.

I repeat, a full tank seemed to fix the problem, but I'm still having a little trouble getting over 200fps.

My marker began malfunctioning in a very specific, repeatable manner.  I would cock it, fire at high velocity (just over 300 when I had it chronoed), the bolt would recock ... but when I fired again ... I would be lucky to get the ball more than ten feet, and the bolt would not get far enough to recock. Recocking would result in the overshot ... repeat ad-naseum.

Manually recocking after the first shot would not prevent the seccond shot from flopping, leaving me to assume it was either a CO2 or valve problem. Dissasembling the marker and replacing the tank o-ring had no effect on the issue either.

Next time I go out I'll plan on putting a full tank and chronoing up ... and hope that this doesn't pop up on me again.  I am fairly religious in the cleaning/oiling of my marker ... so I'm a bit doubful that the problem is there.
