This is a front/back pic of me in our team's new uniform. We just got these in a couple weeks ago from AnimalPaintball.com. We had them design custom team jerseys, pants, and headrags. You can't see it really well, but the pants are padded in the crotch (very handy :D ) and from the knees down. Both the jersey and the pants have venting along the sides (on the inside of the legs of the pants) for warm weather. The quality of the design and product is excellent. I definitely recommend AnimalPaintball to anyone looking to get some custom team gear made. They do pretty much everything and the price is about what we would've paid if we just went and bought some jerseys, pants, and headrags from our local pro-shop. -------------

Why is speedball that much cooler?Let me guess its the only thing that matters and woodsballers and milsimers are losers. As far as I have seen 90% of paintballers are border line dungeons and dragons nerds anyways speedball or woodsball. Oh by the way cool uniform! -------------

Relax, he has much to learn about the ways of the forum. Yes, Frog Man is a speedballer. But he's simply countering all the crap that people say about speedball. I'm sure he's got some respect for woodsball players. I hope you realize that there is a lot of sarcasm and banter that happens in this forum. The last thing you need to think when a person says something like that is "He's an ignorant prick that shouldn't beposting here." As for the uniform; I can't say I like it. The choice of pattern is unique and that's definitely a plus. And the guy with the fedora looks pretty cool. But to me, the rest of it is ugly. Can't say much more. Oh, and I hate Sandanas. That could also be fueling my disgust for the uniform. -------------

Well I will admit sometimes I have a tendency to fly off the handle sometimes and I am truly sorry about that. But I am not dissing on woodsball. That is all I have ever played and still play.In fact I get to go to my first big game this weekend!!!! -------------

Jersey needs to be bigger on the person wearing it in order to look respectable on any level, and Sandana sandanas are the only way to go as far as headgear is concerned.

Oh... wait, you mean that team that is using nothing but Etek Egos now that they're sponsored by Eclipse? Wonder how long it will take for the "true" woodsballers that have been slow to take up electropneumatics to go out and buy an etek now that it will be acceptable.

I'm not sure I understand. So you're saying I need a bigger size? It's a Large already. I didn't really want to swim in it. And I agree about the sandana. It's not as hot as my beanie, it absorbs the sweat w/out getting completely soaked through, and it still allows me to have some cover on my head. -------------

Animal makes great designs, but what i hate is how the jerseys don't have any padding in them and the vents on the side of them frayed the first time i wore it. Your stuff looks pretty cool though. |

First of all, learn your real guns. It's not deagle, it's Desert Eagle. Counter Strike is a good game but they mislabled most of the guns. Second of all, learn your paintball guns. It's a Tiberius 8. -------------

Few things annoy me more than people using game names of weapons/vehicles in the place of the real name of said machine. If you know the actual name of anything (sounds like you did in this situation, so I apologize), spare yourself from shame and use the correct words. But if it comes across to me that your knowledge of the modern world comes from Counter Strike, GTA, the James Bond series, or other such games that don't care to pay for permission to use the actual name of a product, then be prepared for my wrath. -------------

I wouldn't be using Greg Hasting's video games as a model of real life paintball.... Anyway the guy who said "woodsball has teams" is sort of right. I'm not dissing on either side of the game because i play both. Speedball has professional teams and a lot of amateur teams composed of groups of friends. I see a lot of small "teams" when I go to local speed ball fields. You don't see much of that at woodsball fields (at least in the bay area). Most of woodsball players are like me, rec players going out 2-3 times a month. |

From what I know (being on a scenario team), woodsball (more often scenario) teams practice on their own and go to scenario games. You wont see them much at woodsball fields because it's cheaper to practice at free or private places. Also, going to scenarios is often more expensive than speedball tournaments, so it's tough for a team to get formed and be noticed, and even tougher to get recognizable uniforms. There is also a national tournament for woodsball/scenario teams called the SPPL that is growing in popularity. Don't be surprised if you start to see more teams popping up around you. If you go to a scenario, I can guarantee that you will see some sort of team there. -------------
