Ok so ive been thinking about getting a new gun. im having a hard time deciding which one though. I was thinking either the a-5, pcs us-5, or the bt-4. im going to be playing woodsball with it and no speedball.

A5 for sure... they can take abuse and keep on spewing out paint.

look into getting the Flatline Barrel, and most likely a Response Trigger System.

you can set-up a very good A5 for less then $400.

I agree, go with an A5. There are limitless upgrades for them and they're very durable and reliable.

They're all basically the same marker internals across the board. The BT-4 resembles the '98 more in internal design, but the removable grip frame and fore-grip give it that mp-5 feel that you get with an a-5. All of them are reliable. They all use some form of the tippmann CVX valve. The main difference is how much you want to upgrade them (tippmann has more upgrades for the A-5 than the other two have for their markers) and the feed system. With the A-5 you're stuck with the Cyclone feeder. And while it isn't a bad feed system, you can't take it with you when you eventually decide to upgrade to a higher-end marker. The other two use the standard '98 style elbow feed, and while stock, they don't feed as fast, you CAN invest in a Halo B or Re-Loader B2 to give you an even better rate of fire that doesn't kick out on you when your CO2/HPA gets low. When you look at it, the cost of the A-5 vs the Cost of the other two stock, plus loaders, comes out to about the same. It basically comes down to what you want to do with the marker, and whether you think you'll be moving on later down the road.

Well I reccomend the us-5 or the a5 and can answer any questions about the us-5 that you ask me. Price is a reason many go with the us-5. They are pretty much the same gun really unless you decide to go mech us-5 (which you dont really need and electric loader for) this can save you well over a hundred over going with the a5. An electric us-5 and cheap loader adds up to a stock a5, but you don't get the e-trigger with the a5. You can buy a mech us-5 and a cyclode for a 98, and basically have an a5 right there for about $20 less.

Durability is about the same... maybe the us-5 is a bit more durable because it has metal surrounding the grips.

I like the e-clip design for the us-5, lets me change firing modes on the fly.

The us-5 can take pretty much all the same upgrades

Either way, they are quite similar

We even have our own little fan site

I honestly wouldn't be suprised if the us-5 beats out the a5 for sales within the next few years (if it isin't allready) It is growing in popularity very quickly

For $400, you can nicely appoint an Ion for the woods ... I did.

how would you know on durability? I would say they are both the same except for grips where pcs beats by a bit. Either way, both could be dropped off a building and live.

and you would be surprised about how the us-5 has been growing in popularity lately

I also reccomend an A-5 myself. That thing can spew paint very accurately and can take a beating in the woods.
