Launcher is a Scepter.....shoots paint grenades with the kit you can buy. Pretty much all they are are surgical tubes filled with paint tied at one end and a airsoft bb in the other end that pops out when the nade lands, hence, causing your opponent to turn a bright orange....sabots for it are pretty much toilet paper tubes capped at one end. -------------

love the x7! I have a scepter too. greatest thing that I have ever bought for woodsball / scenario or paintball for that matter besides my gun. When you roll up with that people are amazed or throw a fit that you are going to use that. -------------

| I've never seen fit to use paint 'nades, and I've heard fixed reviews of their use. How much of an impact does it take for them to pop? With the Scepter, do they ever pop on launch or in midflight? |

I've had a few nades burst in flight about 5 feet from me causing me to take out myself and 3 other teammates. it's trial and error making them and getting the bb in the right spot so it holds on the way out....they burst sometimes pretty good when they hit or the'll bounce and spin....either way they are a hell of a lot better than those tippmann grenades u can play catch with. Granted I love Tippmann markers but thier nades suck. Love the Hammerhead....very accurate....costly if your young and don't have a lot of money or a job.....but a definite must have. -------------
