So, I was watching yesterday's South Park, good stuff...Made me wonder where the Easter Bunny tradition actually does come from...hit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Easter_Bunny - Wikipedia . Apparently it's just another pagan symbol the church assimilated in attempts to get the pagans to convert during the early rise of Christianity....Interesting nonetheless....
....Jesus's uber throwing star kicked ass too...

ya, still love the christmas one, where they try not to offend any one so they do all this crap and it gets all crazy, then at the end Jesus is sitting by him self, singing happy birthday
lol, i laughed pretty hard.
EDIT, isnt it kinda funny how christians tried to convert the pagan hollidays, and in the end the pagan symbols are more popular.

I've always hated that the Easter bunny has eggs. I cried in kindergarden when I found out that there is no way a rabbit can lay eggs. It should be a duck or something.

I find it funny that a culture so adversed to sex uses so many fertility symbols in their most important holidays....lol...

A lot of that has to do with the nature of the pagan religions the traditions were borrowed from.

My dad used to tell me that the easter bunny hid his eggs so nobody would find out he screwed a duck. Made easter more interesting.
