is your front-sight spring missing? if so, the sight won't stay in the upright position which will keep the feed elbow from latching properly.

if when you tighten the front sight bolt and it won't unclick, then the spring is getting pinched in between the sight and the one half of the gun. try loosening the bolt off a bit and if you can see the spring try to poke it down into place with a knife of something skinny.

A good technique I found out is when you disassemble your marker, hold the front sight in place with one hand while popping the other half off with your other hand. When re-assembling your gun do the same thing, but press the left reciever on at the front first. Before replacing the bolts check that the sight can go up and down like normal, if not then you have to try again.
