I know there have been threads about him before, but my god, Bob Ross is the greatest person to ever live.

I just watched an episode of the Joy of painting, and, I swear, it's a free high. I am more relaxed than I could possibly be, and I was freakin entranced by trees, and mountains. I mean, in 27 minutes, he makes an entire landscape come to life as you watch.
His voice is both comforting, and relaxing.
He talks with such assurance, and says the greatest things. The world is a happy place where there are no mistakes, only happy accidents.

I made the last Bob Ross thread.

Yeah, he was great. So soothing. Everything was ok with the world when he paints.

Don't be sad faced, there's nothing wrong with being necrophiliac art connoisseur.

I was only able to catch his show once, but I liked it a lot.  What network was it on?

Wow really?  Isn't that like the 'manly' channel?  I wouldn't expect painting to fall into that category.

Bob Ross was the man. I wonder if there are any torrents or DVD's of his shows out there.

I have an urge to watch some...

Having never seen it, except for the hilarious episode of Family Guy where they make fun of him.

This guy is the most happiest person I've ever seen.  I found a waterfall video and this is what he said when he was drawing the stream part:

"Maybe theres a little beaver under the water here...although this is a pretty fast river for a beaver...but maybe he's a fast beaver..."

HAH!

I wonder how many of our parents have said that?

"Abortion is not "choice" in America. It is forced and the democrats are behind it, with the goal of eugenics at its foundation."

Yup, he actually said that.
