Both! How can you not have one? I would not play or even shoot it. You really need to get it replaced if it is missing! For safety reasons and air consumption. Not to mention performance. If it is really missing call Tippmann and tell them, they will send you one.

All you're going to see without a velocity screw is rather bouncy chronoing (more than likely bouncing way over 300fps depending on your set-up). The pressure sink you get with the air escaping out the hole from the missing velocity adjustment screw means that you're loosing speed down the barrel even though you're running full-open.

The "velocity adjustment screw" is nothing special. It is a standard 5/16" diameter Allen set screw 1/2" long. Available in just about any hardware store. Home Depot has them in stainless!

I don't adjust it anymore. It just sits there adjusted far enough out to be flush with the inside of the power tube. All of my velocity adjustment is done with the Stabilizer. That velocity screw just sits there and rusts. One of these days I'll replace it with a stainless one...just for the look!

Oh, BTW, Fonzy, next time don't post essentially the same "question" twice.

Hot Topic no new posts SOME ON WASNT DOING THERE JOB
