what do you guys think about the agd pro classic or the agd minimag? I like a small compact gun that shoots acurately and is reliable as well as simple enough to maintain. Also this will be for like 80% woods,20% speed.
I have an a-5 but these guns look appealing to me, are they better than my a-5?
Are they simple enough in design like my tippmann?
Quiet, rugged and accurate?
any one actually own one, or any agd gun?

Thanks alot.

I built my own Mag (RT Pro to be exact) awhile back and it was an awesome gun. Mags are very reliable and easily maintained. They have a ton of ups as well and function well in both woodsball and speedball.

so if i got the level 10 bolt kit, is that all that is really needed on a mini? What other ups are suggested besides the level 10?

I dont want super bps, 5bps is plenty for me.

That said, with the classic valve on a mag, you can run CO2, but you'll experience freeze-up on the on/off in the valve if you go really rapid-fire with one. HPA is a lot better for a mag, or anti-siphoned CO2 if you want to go the less expensive route.

Mags can be much more expensive to upgrade than a '98 or A-5 though. To go Lvl-10 bolt-kit and X-valve and convert to a pneumatically assisted trigger you're going to be shelling out major cash.

That said, mags are nice, I'm not a huge fan due to my experiences with some of the earlier AGD products that hadn't had the kinks worked out as quickly or well as the autococker camp did, but they're definitely nice.

The Mag was before my "vow of pump". Mags are great guns, really. You can find some nice Mag paskages on PBN or AO. They run great off of CO2 as long as you're using the correct valve. lvl10 really isnt necessary unless you're shooting a lot of paint. I only put around $200 into mine and it was great.

I really like my mag, but really, you are going to be upgrading them, so both either way wouldnt be much of a difference.
