I just installed a DOP expansion chamber on my 98 custom E. Now every 20
shots or so, the guns cocking bolt goes too far and it wont fire. i have to
manually push it forward a quarter inch or so before it will shoot again. who
knows why?

Good to see someone taking advantage of all the archived info available on the forums. Concentrate your polishing effort in the areas where you see scrape marks on the shell halves.

brillo pads on the rear and front bolts as well as the power tube and then when it is nice and smoothed down using your brillo pads, take a towel and wd-40 and spray wd on your towel and rub down the entire gun getting the black residue off.
