Bomb threat advisory

Police and SFU Security now have completed their sweep of the Burnaby campus and have found nothing to substantiate the bomb threat that was phoned in at about 12:15 pm today.

Either someone trying to get out of an exam, or some sick joke.

See, If people were smart, they would orginize a country wide bomb threat for all colleges, on the same day.

Facebook would be perfect for it.

We had bomb threat last year, so then a stupid 6th grader gets caught writing a note in the boys bathroom saying there is a bomb in the school.

And after the FBI arrested absolutely everyone involved, it wouldn't look quite so cute.

Making threats is, IIRC, a Federal offence.

Oh rofl, this reminds me.  This girl at my school made a bomb threat to try and get a weekend one day longer yet she turned herself in.  GGz.

Ya, we have had lots of gun threats at my middle/highschool I don't like it when it happens because they make it optional for kids to go to school. But of course I am forced to go to school by my mom, so we are in our first class under lock down half the day while they search and then we have shortened classes for the rest of the day.

BT, My school (see my thread) just called and said that they will have class tommorow but "will have extra sherriff's department personell" there. Irony is, the kid was arrested yesterday, I doubt he can bomb the school from jail.

Whenever our school has bomb threads, they close everything but the front door for 1 period...

It's the least secure thing they could possibly do. Even dumb people wouldn't be fooled into getting caught in that security net.
