Lot of people are going to give you some argument about WD-40. I have been testing it for over a year. It is a good lube/cleaner for occasional use. Tends to thicken and get gummy with age, but it does not damage any seals or "O rings in the marker.

Better lubricants are Hoppes' Gun Oil (yep, the same stuff used on firearms), air tool oil (available at auto supply stores, very inexpensive) or any of the way overpriced Paintball Marker oils.

Graphite is good in some applications, but it doesn't tend to stay in place very well on sliding parts. It is not recommended it this type of application.
