Well I asked my parents and my mom added that it would happen do to different taste in music and such. But I still think that it is kind of wrong I mean even if it is a private party if you have different tastes then go half and half on every thing you disagree on.

look at ANY area with night clubs... there are intermixed clubs but there is genrally one or two that will be mostly white or mostly black. i know here in norfolk VA there is a club with a no black policy. they havent straight said "no blacks" but they publicly stated that no weves or dreads are allowed. i think alot of clubs also have rules against "work boots" (timberlin work boots are a "dress" boot for black people).
almost all of the clubs down here have a rule that girls get in at 18 guys at 21, to many navy boys. that way they get a better ratio of guys/girls. ------------- saving the world, one warship at a time. |

First of all on topic of Black music, go download some music by a band called Whole Wheat Bread. They're from Jacksonville I believe. All three(Maybe 4?) members are black. On the topic, that is ridiculous? How did that slip by for so long without being in the news? Where was Al Sharpton on this while Imus was saying Jiggaboo? The King of black people is really slacking on his defense of the poor kept down black man. ------------- Que pasa?

Not a bad thought. Clearly we (the North) would be FAR better off today without the South providing a massive economic drain. Bet the world wouldn't hate us as much, either. Of course, that solution would have sucked double for black people, as well as truth and justice. |
