if im right the R/T trigger uses excess CO2 to push a piston or pin forward hitting the back of the trigger pushing it forward and thus resetting your trigger and sear?  so what if you had a spring pushing a pin instead of CO2   the trigger pull would be heavier

im just wandering because i made one last night it seems to work

Well the gas pushes the pin forward after every shot but it loses all the pressure really quickly from behind the trigger. This makes the trigger pull the same pressure except after the gun is fired. A spring behind the trigger is absolutley pointless and just makes things harder to shoot faster.

well the way i rigged it  the trigger only travels till the gun goes off so as soon as the gun goes off the trigger stops then it kicks the trigger back

i dont think it would work well.

The RT works because it resets the trigger much faster than a spring would and it resets in perfect time with the gun.

im willing to bet once you try it with the air attached it wont work very well.
