I'm wondering... Will tippmann replace an E-bolt Switch? I was toying with my gun seeing how hard of a sodering job this will be, and well... Ummm my entire Switch Fell off and all I have now is a Battery attacher and a renegade wire hanging around...

I was wondering... you think Tippmann will resoder on an old E-bolt switch on?

They should do, it is a Tippmann part after all. And Ive heard people gettin entire old Tippmann guns serviced/repaired so can't see why your problem should be any different. I'd just ask, all they can do is say no lol.

I wrote them about having a miscast rear dovetail sight, they sent me a new one no questions asked. Thier customer service seems to be several steps above other companies.

...in the future you might want to practice stuff like that on scraps, then try it on the gun.

^thats what the Tech guy said.

"Yea... we might have a part for it but I'm not sure, like you said we got rid of these things a little before 05' you can send it in if you want but we cant make any Guarantee on it getting repaired or not."

SOOO... I have no idea what to do... If I send it in and they can't do nothing with it... well then I'm going to Stick a R/T in it, and turn my other E98CP into my Speedball marker.

so I've made up my mind, the E98c I thought I was going to build... aint going to happen, I'm just going to remove the E-bolt it's self and look into replacing it with a R/T though, I'm not going to go skimpy on the R/T98c I'm still going to add all the lovely things to it... just not for along time... instead I'm going to be building up my beutiful cocker, Palmer Quik pro kit, palmer Stabilizer and a few other little goodies along the way, but my e98c is a dead idea...

<sigh> .... oh well it was for the best.

Why not try replacing it all with a hiring harness/ switch from another marker or look for a broken e-bolt on pbnation/ ebay?

If a solder joint just broke, anyone competent with a soldering iron can likely fix it. If the switch is damaged it's easily replaceable. You could send it to me, just the board and switch, and I'll see if I can put it back together. OR, if you have given up on it you could send it to me for my spare parts bin.

Replacement micro switches are available at Radio Shack and other computer/electronics stores.
