After the last time I took it out and got tired of carrying a blender, I sent it in yet again. When it arrived yesterday I looked at the invoice (thank goodness for warranty work) for what was replaced.

To date my A-5 has had: 3 WAS boards, trigger housing, 2 rear bolts, sear, tombstone, powertube, front bolt, Cyclone rebuilt, ASA.

Any bets that it will work the next time I take it out?

Man, your gun seems to hate you. Try giving it a new paint job to make its spirit happy. Either that or your somehow too rough on the gun.

Wish I could be rough on it. Problem is it never works long enough to get abused. It has only worked the entire day around 4 times since I've had it. I always end up using my son's backup ION. In fact I've fired more paint through it than my A-5.

sell the A-5 and get a different gun?

Did that. After the last time it crapped out I picked up a new ETEK EGO. Haven't been out to use it yet.

Oh, well then why even bother with the A-5 since the Etek is a much nicer marker?

For starters I paid money for a marker that should work. In the condition it was in I couldn't sell it (at least not in good conscience).
