Mine started leaking for the first time about a year after I bought it (2 weeks ago). It's driving me crazy, I keep replacing tubes yet it keeps leaking. Just wanted to know how often you have to fix leaks.

1) don't insult people for asking legitimate questions, it makes you dick.

2)your comment shows you are clearly unintelligent.

3) there is nothing wrong with choosing an Ion over Tippmann, out of the box an Ion will outperform a tippmann.

Now as for the question...where is it leaking? Is it possible you simply dont have the regulator screwed into the body all the way?

true

2)your comment shows you are clearly unintelligent.

Misimformed more like but you have the right idea

3) only a moron would take a tippmann over an ion as ions perform better.

One word: millsim

Now as for the question...where is it leaking? Is it possible you simply dont have the regulator screwed into the body all the way?

CONGRATS!!!! you have been here for one day and already made an ass of yourself. Welcome to the forum

As for the question?? do you have and Aftermarket QEV. I seen a little bit of a tendancy for those to leak... Might wanna check that.

i set up the velocity on my ion and thought the regulator read 180 psi turns out after i took my gun to get a new trigger installed i had it well set to about over 280 which is extremly high and will leak try setting the velocity again. make sure u screw and unscrew your tank and take a few shots to make sure its actually set to where its supposed to. operating psi is 180 also if you installed that qev make sure its in there properly. double checking never hurts

You were off to such a great start.

But then...

Quote 3) only a moron would take a tippmann over an ion as ions perform better.

I edited my post to be less general, and derogatory.
