just read a thing on msn about problems people have with dating people taller/shorter whatever... so ill leave you with this before i walk out the door to eat (lets hope its not locked before i get home) would you date a girl whos taller than you? frankly, it doesnt make a difference to me, if the girl is taller then thats life, love is love. my girlfriend is the same exact height as me, shes only a little taller in heels |

I have dated people both taller and shorter than me. While I have preferences about peoples' heights generally, height relative to me is not so important. But short guys are definitely screwed. Well, not - but you get the point. |

Within range would be within 2 inches. If she's over two inches taller, forget it. And I wouldn't be with a girl that was say.. under 5'3. That's just midget status. My girlfriend is 5'4 and i think it's the perfect height for a girl. -------------

A girl would have to be a knockout to be an inch or so taller than me, for me to still go out with her. I prefer to date girls that are considerably shorter than me(4-8").

I've got 7 inches on my girlfriend, and I think that's a bit much, but she wears high heels almost every day, so you don't notice it as much.
But yeah...I don't think I'd date a taller girl...considering they'd have to be above 6', and that's unlikely. |

Ehh.. be kind of hard to find many girls over 6'1" that aren't in the WNBA.
But shortness doesn't matter as long as they aren't a "small person" The girls I took too prom the past 2 years were both 5'2".. almost a full foot shorter then me. |

i'm 5' 5", not done growing yet, but i would rather a girl be equal or shorter than me. it wouldn't make a uge difference, unless she was like 3 inches or higher than me, but a little shorter is preferable. -------------

People that this is an issue for obviously have issues with a meaningful relationship. My girlfriend is sorter than me by more than 9", and it doesnt bother me or her in the slightest. -------------

it shouldnt matter, but some people see it as awkward to walk into a room with a date whos got like 6-10 inches on them. like i said though, height doesnt really matter to me, so longs theyre not like 4'5..i mean cmon |

Height doesn't matter. Even if a girl was 5in taller then me I wouldn't have a problem with it. ya, but you need initial attraction for a relationship to start in the first place. I'm 6'3" and I think any girl taller then me would be kinda butch or awkward, so from a completely physical standpoint, no i wouldn't date a girl taller them me. my gf is 5'10", and thats a perfect height for me imo ------------- <1 meg sig = bad> |

I'm 5'4 and my G/F is 5'3 so it's nice. Though I have dated a girl a foot taller then me, that was pretty awesome, every time I'm going to grab something out of my reach all I say is "ehem... Dwarf here" she would just reach up and grab it, or reach for it. -------------

I recently broke up with a girl who was nearly as tall as me, maybe an inch or so shorter and I'm 6'1". Height doesn't matter in my mind. I think it could be some what odd at first to date some one like 2 feet shorter, but it can be worked around. ------------- |

Meaningful relationship doesn't mean dating. For anyone, regardless of maturity, a meaningful relationship is just that, meaningful, and people are more willing to look past certain things. But when two people are just dating, its like having arm/eye candy for the most part. If I found a woman I loved, it obviously wouldn't matter how tall she is, but physical attraction has its limits. -------------
