As neat as it looks, when I first got my X7 the upgrades weren't out yet, and I retrofitted (using a dremmel) the front sight and carry handle from an old armotech. It looked cook, but I hated it on the field. It lasted one game then came of quick fast and in a hurry.

Well done.  I'd give you a 10/10 if it had some funtional upgrades (ie:  stabelizer, upgraded trigger, and a way to avoid using a remote.  This marker looks great though.  9/10

I think the front site should be moved forward a bit or is that the only place it will fit?

yea but when your doing "superman" dives, the knee and elbow pads come in handy.

The X7's make very good M16s/M4s.

No.

That's the way the real guns are set up. (With the front sight grounded to the front of the hand guard.)

I guess only sissies use proper spelling, capitalization, sentence structure and punctuation as well?

Knee and elbow pads can come in quite handy.  However, as cool and realistic as those look, I usually recommend the use of softer protective gear to minimize the chance of hits that break.
