Thousands of people die every day, what made them so special? Nothing. The news just decided "Hey look, a story that can get us high ratings by tearing on people emotions." Pfft, the news disgusts me.

Yeah, all the kids that got shot/ bombed elsewhere that day didnt though, right? They didnt have families or anything. | Not saying they didnt. But saying that you dont care if somebody died just because they aren't the only ones is a real ass hole remark. Especially the "32 privalaged" part. What becasue they where going to college they are somehow less important?

Just cause they're going to college somehow makes them MORE important than the hundreds that were killed elsewhere?
It's not that I dont care about V-tech, or sympathize, etc. But acting like it's the worst thing thats ever happened in the world, or even on that day.... wrong.

You guys have a pretty digsusting habit of turning almost everything that happens into a statement against the victims or their supporters. Yeah, thousands of people bite the dust every day. What made this different, was that the people that were victimized were us. This was a close to home attack, and most of us can identify with the people who were attacked as students and teachers ourselves. Someone gets bombed out over in Iraq, and its tragic, yeah, but there's a closeness to home that is lacking with that.
You're all so awesome by pretending to remove yourself from the little bit of humanity that a situation like this would ask for.
Even better, are those of you that are really too dumb to care. I'm guessing that you'd sing the "Oh, 3,000 people killed on 9/11? Big deal, thousands of people die every day, why are they special?" tune if you thought it would make you look like a hollywood tough guy with no emotion.

I thought people would be used to the shock jock flash games by now. You gotta have something to make confused adolescents feel harcore, right?
And the games' not all that graphic, just offensive in subject matter and dialogue.

Here is a news story that happened on the exact same day as V Tech.
http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/nationworld/bal-te.burn16apr16,0,7867984.story?coll=bal-home-headlines - http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/nationworld/bal-te.burn16apr16,0,7867984.story?coll=bal-home-headlines - Relatives ask who'd put acid on slide I bet you didn't hear anything about it because major news outlets couldn't get a whole country to watch television all day. Maybe if it had of gotten the same coverage the guilty party would be caught? I am not some hollywood tough guy wannabe. I am actually a very weak and very comfortable with my sexuality. Two things tough guys never seem to be.
I am sorry if my beliefs offend you. I just don't see their deaths as a tragedy.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, I never said anything about their deaths being meaningless, or the fact that I have no sympathy. It's the simple fact that its been carried on for so long and so very over played.
*EDIT* admitingly I did not try to come off sounding like a bas ass but it just ended up seeming like that.

As I said, I'm not trying to look badass, I DO sympathize/ feel bad about it, and I do realize it's really, really messed up. I'm just also aware of how screwed up in general the world is, and that it isn't the worst thing that has ever happened, while it still is tragic.
