I have recently been looking into the pricing of a paintball pistol, specifically the Ariakon ACP 2.0. Now, I am fully aware of the whole "just carry another paint pod" point of view, I'm not debating that to be a more efficient solution. However I first got started playing paintball with the ACP 1.0 of my friends, so I think of it more as a nestalgia kind of thing.

Here is the question, from people who have actually owned and used the ACP 2.0, how does it hold up overall? Do they break down often or suffer from really poor accuracy...as far as paintball guns go?

Please don't post anything along the lines of "p1ztlz S0ckzz B3 a Sn1pz3r!!!" I'm looking for a honest review of the gun itself...

Thanks ya'll

My friend had an Ariakon pistol, can't remember which one it was. I've heard good things about the ACP 2's, so if you're really looking to get a pistol, I wouldnt hesitate in chooing the Ariakon.

As mentioned, http://www.pbreview.com - www.pbreview.com can be a huge help.

Yeah, it has a bunch of good reviews...but now I'm more hard-pressed to decide!

I'm really caught now between the ACP2.0 and the Zeus G1 RIS. I have special plans for a custom look for the gun I get, looks being a big part. Unfortunately there are too many good things said about both...

Buddy of mine seems set on having a pistol only game which is how he started out.  It sounds very interesting and I'm willing to do it.  I've been thinking about the Ariakon ACP 2.0 myself.  My buddy has a couple of old Splatmaster Rapides.  I don't like those because of the long trigger pulls.  But they do have a nice 20rnd magazine on them.

Well its set. For my B-day I was given an Ariakon ACP2.0 (sortaof given, the payment was made today so it will arrive in a few days)

I am planning another outting soon, and I have lots of extra ammo from my last field trip. I'm planning on getting a lot of testing in my back yard and giving it a go at my next speedball game. This may be fairly suicidal against the high end electro armed teams that sometimes roam my field, but what the heck. At the very least it would be a great way to get even more experience in patient shooting.

Damn, i'm too late!

I have fired over 2000 rounds in my ACP (2.0) but suck at taking stuff apart, yet it still works as it did when it came. (I also dropped it a crap load) Cause I was trying to do the cool "spin" pistol draw.
