My son is graduating in 2 weeks - I have no idea what to get him, and I know that there are quite a few posters here that are his age, what should I get him? I told him I'd give him $1000.00 Can. towards his truck, but he sold his truck. I can give him the $1000.00 and he can spend it as he feels, or something else, any ideas? ------------- Imagine there’s a picture of your favourite thing here. |

And yeah, the laptop is really cliche, but it's very nice at the same time. Especially if he's going to college or university, he'll appreciate. If you DO the laptop thing, make sure he has input on which one, cause it would suck to get a laptop he doesnt really want, but cant seem ungrateful, so he's stuck with it. |

^^$1000.00 worth of Ramen could kill a man. A trip somewhere is always nice. I agree with USAF; there is grad presents and then there is going away to college presents. I wasn't fortunate enough to get them at different times *shucks* but I think they really are two different entities. Laptops become obsolete every 2 years anyhow, so he'll probably end up selling it to get the newest model he can for his money.
