Nono, I'm just saying I thought it wasn't microsoft that had it/ presented it, I had heard it was someone else (apple) Either way, I'm glad to see how it apparently turned out, and that it's not covered in menus/ logos. They actually pulled off the intuitive aspect of it, and made it context sensitive. I know if I heard something like "the cactus club put Surface in their tables" I'd go check it out asap. |

I've seen a photo manager/resizer interface like this before. it's pretty cool but not taht revolutionary imho. The touch pad lag time seems pretty bad still if you watch the video of it on the today show where they play tic-tac-toe -------------

It would be nice if at least a small section of it could pop up, so you wouldn't be hunched over a table all the time....just for ergonomic considerations, ya know...Still, an awesome piece of tech...wonder what the price tag will be....actually, I'm not sure I want to know....'course, as with most other tech, it'll get cheaper and better as it matures....I foresee me owning one or two of these things sometime in the future....ergonomics be damned...

I read Ender's Game as well. I would have loved it if I didn't have to imagine 8 year olds doing the things they did. If the kids we at least 16-17 it would have been better, but imagining kids a little over half my age doing the things they did made it kind of wierd. -------------
