Where are you seeing them for the same price? Custom Pros should be around $160, while the A-5 should be around $230. -------------

Both markers bought NIB (new in box)? The price you paid for the Custom Pro is about right. The price on the A-5 seems a little low, but not bad. Are they both stock markers? -------------

Well, I'm sure he paid shipping on the marker which would raise the total price over $200. Local pro shops will kick the price up to make a little extra profit, but you'd probably have paid the difference in shipping. Some online places will charge a premium for shipping if they list the gun low. Does your Custom Pro have ACT? -------------

Custom pro is lighter, has a better stock barrel, drop foward, and double trigger while the A5 is easier to field strip and maintain, as well as customize -------------

Yes. The biggest differences are the stock "upgrades" (i.e. cyclone or barrel, drop, double trigger) ------------- Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good. |

Well, if you Custom Pro has ACT (and it better for the price you paid) you'll have a hard time chopping paint with the bolt. The A-5 is a little easier to fieldstrip for cleaning, but that is about it. I've been thinking about picking up a Custom Pro for the heck of it just so I can loan it out to anyone interested in playing. -------------
